Practical Science in year 3

Today is a science investigation day because of the snow.

We have gone into the playground to look at the snow and we have brought some into class to see what happens to it.

We are investigating why it snows and the science behind it.

Year 3 and 4 Olympic competition

Well done to all the students who have returned the

Wenlock and Mandeville 

mascot entries so far!!!

The deadline is next week friday (12th November 2010).

Please bring your completed pack to my class, 3-O.

The questions must also be filled in as well as your designs please.

I will post some of the designs on the blog once I have all the entries.

The Year 3 Book Tour

This week Year 3 have been making books for reception.
It has been a hard week but we all put in 100% and produced some fantsastic books.
3A wrote Fiction books and 3O produced information books about cats.

Mrs Anderson also shared a story with year 3. The story was called The Mouse -Deer and The Crocodile.
It is a traditional tale from Malayasia.
Everyone really liked the story.

Literacy Week

Next week is Literacy Week at Henry Green Primary.

 There will be lots of activities happening around the school.

Year 3-O will be working with Miss Kana's Class, RK and 3A will be working with Mrs Beckles Class, RB.

We will be reading and retelling stories as well as making stories for reception to read.

It will be a fun packed week, watch this space for pictures and videos.
